I just want to remind you all to use up your Starbucks stars NOW!
I have 16 Starbucks Stars that are about to expire in 10 days! Aaaaaacccckkkkk!
I’m just a bit disappointed because when I got my Starbucks card, I thought the stars earned would last a longer time and would not expire on me.
But last week I got an email from Starbucks reminding me that I should redeem my stars soon because they will expire on March 2, 2015! At least they sent a reminder, giving me enough time to use up my stars.
These were the stars I earned while accumulating stickers for my Starbucks 2015 Planner. So I guess I need to head to Starbucks this weekend then and get my free drink 🙂 12 stars gets me a free handcrafted beverage! But being “barat” as I am, I really do feel bad about the 4 stars that will be forfeited. Poor stars didn’t even get to the chance be redeemed.
You can combine stars earned in 2014 with new stars earned in 2015, but I really don’t think I can get 8 more stars in such a short amount of time.
Reading up on Starbuck’s FAQ, I guess I missed this part the first time:
Do Stars expire?
Yes. All Stars earned from January 1 to December 31 each year are valid for redemption until March 1 only of the following year. Keep track of your Stars through your online account.
