The Alley by Vikings – UNLI Food, UNLI Drinks (Beer & Cocktails)!

Spread the Love!

The Alley BGC Exterior

Last night, I was invited to check out the newly opened The Alley by Vikings in BGC.

It is located at the second floor of C1, Bonifacio High Street. To get there, take the escalators near the Adidas store across from Central Square.

THE ALLEY BY VIKINGS

The Alley already has several branches in Northern Metro Manila, and this is the first one that opened a little bit “souther”.

The dining concept is like this – instead of the usual “stations” set-up, the set up at The Alley is like a premium food hall. There are 14 stalls where you can get your food from, and everything is included in the buffet price (only excluding premium drinks like Scotch, etc…).

Diners are given a bracelet like this:

Explore Everywhere!

After you get your bracelet, just get food to your heart’s content from the different food stalls! The area has an Alley in the middle – there are stalls and dining areas on the right side of the alley, and on the left side of the alley. Don’t forget to explore the entire selection!

I highly suggest exploring the whole area first, even the nooks and crannies, because you might miss some food! You might not realize that there is still some food available in that hidden corner, or that there is still another section at the back!

There are several dining areas scattered around The Alley:

Taho, balut, bibingka (Ferino’s) and puto bumbong are also available!

Here is where you can get your drinks:

The Alley BGC Drinks

They have juices and infused water on one side, softdrinks and machine-made coffee on the other side, and alcoholic beverages at the bar.

Beer & cocktails are included (and drink-all-you-can), for both lunch & dinner!

The Alley BGC Margaritas

For cakes, pastries, and coffee made by a barista, I suggest going to Nord’s:

Yes, the coffee is unli! Imagine how much this costs at a coffee shop – one cup with latte art averages P120-P150.

PRICING

Is it worth it?

It really depends on what you will be eating, but yes, it’s definitely worth it!

Just for the food alone, if you think about how much you will be spending if you ordered dishes like sizzling steaks, truffle pasta, Oyters Rockefeller, ebi tempura, salmon sashimi, various maki, as well as nachos and dimsum and dessert (cheesecakes, crepes, bibingka, puto bumbong, ice cream, fruits), etc… you’ll probably spend more than P988 for your share of food!

Even if you just eat shrimp tempura, salmon sashimi, steamed fish and oysters, bawi ka na ๐Ÿ™‚

But wait, there’s more! You also have drink-all-you-can on cocktails, beer, juices and latte art coffee! If you drink one coffee (average price outside P150), 2 cocktails (average price outside P250), 1 beer (P100), that’s already a P750 value, just on drinks!

Also, Vikings has a reputation for maintaining a certain level of quality in the food they serve. In my opinion, what you’re getting is worth more than the eat-all-you-can price.

There are also different cuisines available, so if you are going with family or friends who have different tastes in food, everyone can find something to eat ๐Ÿ™‚
