So Part 1 showed you the furniture items on sale you can use for your Summer party, and here in Part 2, we’ll talk about the other things you might need for your fun party!

Alcoholic Drinks:
You know I like Scotch. Well, if you didn’t know, you do now. I am not an alcoholic. I just like the smoky, peaty, smooth characteristic (which is also probably why I like pu-erh tea), and I only drink like, a jigger, and rarely. Is it weird for a woman to like Scotch more than bitter red wines?
If you also enjoy good Scotch, or know someone who does, you might be very happy with these promos:
I am very interested to try this Glenlivet 15. It is P1,899.95. The glasses are going to be a great addition to your collection! I have actually never tried a Glenlivet before but have read good reviews on it. It is a single malt Scotch Whiskey, which basically means it comes from a single distillery of whiskey.
Now this Chivas Regal 18 YO is something I have previously tried when someone brought a bottle to a party! It’s very good. It smelled so smooth and comforting while also being very aromatic (remember to let it breathe and swirl it around before drinking). This gift pack also gives you 2 tilting whiskey glasses and is P2,399.95. The Chivas Regal is a blended scotch whiskey – this means that it is blended from whiskeys sourced from several distilleries.
The classic Johnny Walker Black Label also has a promo where you can get a whole Rotisserie Chicken when you buy a bottle. The Johnny Walker Black Label 1L is P984.95. JWB is my standard Scotch order 
I think this is a really good deal you shouldn’t pass up if you like JWB! The free chicken is easily P200+
The Macallan 12 YO is also on sale, from P3,499.95, to just P2,494.95 (save P1,005!). I have also heard good things about the Macallan 12 YO Sherry Oak, once described as “simply the best 12 Year Old single malt around”. Ok, I want to try it now, especially now that the price is almost 30% OFF!
The Jagermeister Raw (in can) is Buy 1 Take 1.
Here are a few more items from the drinks section. I am not an expert on wines but here’s what I found:

Drinkware & Dinnerware:
Now that we’ve seen some of our Summer Fun Party drink options, you’ll be happy to know that glasses and plates are also on sale!
I think this Circles set is pretty! It’s very 70’s. Not that I’d know anything about that because it wasn’t my era. Just sayin’. 
Worried that wine glasses are expensive? They’re not. Check these out!
These Libbey wine glasses are just P799.85 for 12 glasses! And the champagne flute set below is just P699.85 for 12 flutes!
These Luigi Bormioli wine glasses are Break-Resistant! And only P1,499.95 for a set of 8 (was P1,999.95). I did a close-up picture so you can see how thin the glass is.
If you’re new at this, don’t worry. You don’t need to buy every kind of glassware. Think about what kind of drink you are going to serve more often. Juices and iced tea? Buy the cooler glasses like the Pulsar or the Circle above.
Do you see yourself serving a lot of champagne or any other bubbly? A flute is your best bet.
If you think you will be serving a lot of wine, you should probably get a wine set.

A Corelle set is just one of those things that people are proud to own and I’ve heard are even considered heirloom pieces by some (?). Anyway, I think it’s definitely a good gift as a starter set for a new family, or for someone who has just moved to their own place. Why is Corelle so coveted? Compared to other plates, Corelle plates are very light. They are also virtually unbreakable. You can drop them and they wouldn’t even get a scratch! Which also makes them good summer party plates!
