Last week, I checked out Tickles in SM North Edsa. It is located on the ground floor of the main building, right across from Jollibee, near the escalators in front of the supermarket.

Back when I started shopping at Tickles, it was a place where one could fun, cool school stuff: the pen pouches that were all the rage back then, cute pens, bags, and other hip, quirky, novelty items.
They still sell quirky novelty items that make really fun gifts, but now their items target both millenials and Tickles’ original customers, as well.
In September 2016, they re-imaged their flagship store in SM Megamall. Now, all the new Tickles branches have the retro European circus theme (Power Plant Mall,
TriNoma, UP Town Center, Robinson’s Place Manila), while the other branches will soon be updated.
Most of the items you see at Tickles, you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Tickles designs and manufactures many of their gift items. Where else can you find alphabet pillows, or pillows that look like fried chicken or french fries?

The stuffed unicorn is just too cute! It’s P1,395 but I got it to give to my niece.
I thought the door knob hangers were just too funny (P180 each)! The bear one says: Come In you’re bear-y welcome. And at the back, it says: Do Not Disturb i’m currently hi-bear-nating. The piggy one says: Come in i need some hogs and kisses. And at the back, it says: Do Not Disturb having a pig-nic. I like that they are washable.
I also bought some bookmarks. They were only P60 for a set. I’m going to keep a set, and will give the others to book reader friends.
Tickles is a fun place to shop for gifts – you can probably find something relating to an inside joke between you and your giftee. The items are also very unique, something you’re not likely to find anywhere else, and always very memorable!
