Last week, we were invited to check out Accor Hotels’ turn to showcase their participation in the Sustainable Seafood Week PH at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.
SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD WEEK PH
The aim of Sustainable Seafood Week is to let customers know that the participating restaurants source their seafood responsibly. Sustainable Seafood Week PH was from Feb. 20 – 26, 2017.
- they know where they seafood comes from, when and where, everything is legal
- they don’t use any endangered species, and they don’t use juvenile (babies) seafood
- no harmful methods were used in catching the seafood
Each of the hotels in the Accor Hotels Group in Metro Manila presented a few dishes made with sustainably-sourced seafood.
Accor Hotels brands in the Philippines include: Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, and soon, Ibis.
