You may sign-up for membership at the temporary office at Zone 5, Barangay Kauswagan, Butuan-CDO-Iligan Road, Cagayan De Oro, Misamis Oriental.
S&R MEMBERSHIP
Membership fee is P700, but I think it’s worth it, especially if you like buying imported cookies, chocolates, food, products, etc… The membership fee gives you one year of access to imported items you won’t find elsewhere for less. Besides, not everyone in the family needs to be a member. One person in the household being a member is usually okay (for example, mom or dad). That way, you only spend P700. You can bring the kids, your parents, siblings, etc… I forgot how many guests you are allowed to bring, I think 3 or 4? Anyway, as long as the member is there. Only credit cards with the same surname as the member are accepted, as I recall, but there’s no issue when paying cash.
There’s also an option for getting an extension card per household for P400. That’s what my sister and I did, spending only P1,100 for 2 cards instead of P1,400 (we live in the same household). This way, we have separate cards so we can go to S&R without having to wait for each other and not have to go together all the time.
