Okay, so I checked out my favorite supermarket (S&R) a couple of days ago.
Every time I go, I find something new – like a totally new product that I wasn’t expecting to find here in the Philippines – kind of like treasure hunting! Last March, it was EOS lip balms, and this month, it’s Vaseline’s Spray & Go!
Just remember to buy your finds when you see them – they might not come back in stock ever

HEALTH & BEAUTY MADNESS
It seems like this month is Health & Beauty Madness at S&R. There were so many H&B items on sale — from shampoos, soap, toothpaste and mouthwash to lotions and deodorant!
In this post, I will be concentrating on the H&B sales and share the other sales (food & homeware) in another post. I recently did a post on this week’s Bakery Item of the Week, the Buy 1 Take 1 on Round Cakes, and I also reported on the big discount on Joy Dishwashing Liquid!
Here are the Health & Beauty items I found on sale at S&R during my recent visit (Shaw Branch):
The best H&B find of the trip for me is the Vaseline Spray & Go. I haven’t seen it in other supermarkets and beauty drugstores in the Philippines yet. At first, I was like, what is this? I was curious so I started googling it when I got home.
It’s a new kind of moisturizer – you spray it on like a spray on sunscreen – and beauty gurus have been giving it very good reviews! They are P349.95 per bottle (save P50!).

I bought a Crest 3D whitening mouthwash before but in a different variant and the taste is a little off – think of bleach. I still tried to finish at least half and just have the mentality of ‘tiis ganda’ but I really can’t get pass the taste. Yuck . Let me know if you ever got this!
Hi, Keira! Almost all the teeth whitening products I have tried have that same bleachy smell talaga 🙁 tanggap ko na. The whitening prodcuts are usually made with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda plus I don’t know what else. I think it’s the hydrogen peroxide that is giving it that bleachy taste.
I just try to avoid staining my teeth dark – sometimes it can’t be helped because I drink coffee and tea, but I try to drink water afterwards and sort of rinse off the coffee/tea from my teeth.
