Greenwich Pizza Day 2018

Last Friday, February 9, I had the pizza-filled experience of going to Greenwich’s #GWorldPizzaDay at the Glorietta 4 Dolphin Park in Makati City.

Greenwich celebrated World Pizza Day by turning the Glorietta 4 Dolphin Park into a pizza village called the Overloaded Pizza District.

The fun started at 5 pm, when the Greenwich Overloaded Pizza District opened to the public. There were several booths like the Lasagna Lane, Hawaiian Combi Corner, Pizza Parlor, and Sidekick Street, where you can experience the very best of Greenwich such as their Lasagna Supreme and other pasta dishes, Hawaiian and Ultimate Overload Pizzas, Wacky Wings, Potato Waves, and other favorites.

FREE PIZZAS FOR EVERYBODY! Anybody could get a free pizza, plus win some goodies! They were also giving away free bottles of Coca-Cola, which was one of the sponsors of #GWorldPizzaDay.

Aside from the free food, there was a free concert featuring performances from local acts such as Hale, Mayonnaise, and Silent Sanctuary. There were also different contests that guests could participate in, such as the Pizza Eating Contest, the Box Overload Challenge, and the Hawaiian Hula Dance Off.

Resident Greenwich kabarkada Robi Domingo also introduced his new Greenwich friends – Ella Cruz, Julian Trono, and Bella Padilla. They performed some entertainment numbers to the delight of their fans. Yassi Pressman and new Greenwich endorser JC Santos were unable to attend the event due to conflict in schedule.

What a way for Greenwich to celebrate World Pizza Day and give back to their loyal patrons. By around 9pm, they were still giving away more free pizza and prizes! The Greenwich fans who dropped by seemed to be having a great time by the looks of it. Picnic tables were set up where patrons can enjoy the cool Friday evening.

Happy World Pizza Day!
