Movies to See in 2015

It’s just a few days until the start of a new year, so while in the process of organizing my 2015 planner, I checked the internet for movies coming out in 2015. Here is the list that I penciled in my planner! These are the movies that are expected blockbusters, must-see movies, and movies that I am interested in seeing. I made a list, and checked it twice!

Here’s my personal list for 2015. I am sharing it with you because some of you might find the information useful, like the same movies as I do, and also want to pencil them in your planner!

BARAT AKO’S “LIST OF MOVIES TO SEE” FOR 2015:

Taken 3 – Jan. 14 (I want to learn his very particular set of skills; so sad to learn they killed his wife in this movie)
Blackhat – Jan. 21 (Chris Hemsworth, hackers)
American Sniper – Jan. 21 (buzzed about being Bradley Cooper’s best work yet)
Jupiter Ascending – Feb 6 (very interesting premise; from the Wachowski brothers of Matrix fame; Mila Kunis cleaning toilets; Channing Tatum in guyliner)
The Seventh Son – Feb 6 (I’m a sucker for these magic-magic legend movies)
Furious 7 – April 3 (now that Paul Walker is gone, I must see this)
Avengers: Age of Ultron – May 1 (Marvel movie, ’nuff said)
Pitch Perfect 2 – May 15 (those girls are hilarious)
Terminator: Genisys – July 1 (yes, this has Arnold in it)
Minions – July 10 (I want to have my own minion army)
The Fantastic Four – Aug 7 (I haven’t seen much hype about this movie, but it’s a Marvel movie, so I’m already going to go see it by default)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon II: The Green Destiny – Aug 28 (Michelle Yeoh, kung fu, sword fighting, I’m so there!)
Spectre (James Bond) – Nov 6 (It’s James Bond)
Mockingjay, Part 2 – Nov 20 (I’ve seen all the previous Hunger Games movies, might as well finish it)
Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens – Dec 18 (I sure hope it’s better this time)
Mission: Impossible V – Dec 25 (I’ve seen all the previous ones. Might as well. Oh, wait. It’s Filmfest time. Probably have to wait until Filmfest is over)

Did I miss a movie? Please let me know in the comments below!

And I just remembered – I really ought to do a Die Hard marathon before the New Year. Maybe I should start a tradition of watching Die Hard movies for Christmas. Oooh, I also like The Long Kiss Goodnight! Yes, that’s the one with Geena Davis as a normal suburban mom turned super spy. Must put those in the planner too to watch next Christmas! Yeah, I know. I like watching our heroes shooting lots of bad people. It helps put me in the holiday spirit and reduces the holiday stress ;P

Edit: 12/28/2014
– Added American Sniper, Blackhat
